OT: Windows Live Mail Desktop

I really thought this was interesting and thought to share a video from Channel 9 http://channel9.msdn.com/showpost.aspx?postid=200389

? I chatted with Bryan Starbuck and his team about the new mail client that works with Windows Live Mail and all your POP3 and IMAP accounts as well... and RSS... and seems to go way beyond the feature set of Oulook Express.
The
new Windows Live Mail Desktop beta that is shown in the video will be released in early June. Users can sign-up on http://ideas.live.com/ in order to receive an invite as the beta scales up over the next several months.
Note that the name "Windows Live Mail Desktop beta" is a place holder name until the final name comes in "

A very interesting and fun video Jason, thanks for posting. I love the word wheel feature which is also in Windows Mail, it sounds like its way better than WM too, since includes features such as RSS, integration with Messenger and MSN Spaces, so I can turn e-mails into blog entries which pretty cool. I can't wait to test this. -- Andre Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta "Jason" wrote in message

It's really cool so far - having a lot of fun with it. However, memory does seem to be guzzled up by the WLMDb client - up to 108MB used here... :-o
